Thrusters: When Simon Anderson glassed three fins onto a board for the first time in 1981, he introduced one of the most significant design innovations in the history of surfing. The thruster has since been considered the go to configuration by the majority of surfers and shapers, worldwide.

All NVS fins are available in any of a variety of styles. We have developed several different fin series, each with a unique set of performance characteristics and aesthetic.

CarbonFiber.The carbon fiber overlay on the base and tip of fins allows for increased strength without sacrificing fin responsiveness or flex.

Honeycomb. This series is designed to deliver the dynamic performance of traditional fiberglass fins, while eliminating unnecessary weight.

EcoSeries. We replaced the fin core with bamboo for maximal performance and minimal environmental impact.

FlexSeries. The nylon-fiberglass composite provides an ideal balance of stiffness, an optimal flex pattern and excellent flex memory.
